Blinds Production Assistant

Zone at Home are a Blinds and Curtains company based in Glasgow and Wishaw. We cover all of central Scotland, visiting homes and businesses throughout the region to sell our quality products.

We are looking for a hard working, highly motivated individual to join our very busy production team. You must be attentive to detail and have a passion to providing quality products.

Role:

In the role you will assist in the making in all types of window blinds. You will be involved;

• cutting and preparing fabric
• cutting aluminium tubes and rails
• building and finishing the products
• quality control checking the blinds
• stock control and ensuring cost management at all times
• taking in deliveries and ensuring correct fabrics delivered.
• ensuring customers orders are completed in required time scale.

Full training will be given, The ideal candidate would be hard working, Reliable, and aims to produce exceptional standards of work, with keen eye for detail. Sewing Machine, Blinds Making or Fabric cutting experience would be an advantage.

Hours: ( 37 hrs ) 4 Day Week

The hours of work will be a Full time week from Monday to Thursday with hours of 7.30am till 5.30pm

Salary:

We offer a starting salary between £9.50-£11.00 per hour, Depending on Experience.
