Who We Are:

At Zestcode, our specialty is White Label Web Development. This means we code on behalf of our clients, mostly marketing agencies, under their name, allowing them to expand their services into the web development sector.

We are looking for someone who is confident in WordPress to work independently alongside the development director and project manager on web builds. Training and support will be offered where needed and you will be able to expand your knowledge into areas you’re interested in.

Our office is situated in Raunds, with good access from Wellingborough, Northampton, Kettering, Rushden and neighbouring counties. We are also within walking distance from Asda, Mcdonald's and KFC if you're a foodie! The office working is flexible, with project based members of the team having the option to work hybrid, with a minimum of 1/2 days in the office per week.

What You’ll Be Doing:

You will be responsible for coding custom WordPress themes (built on top of the Understrap theme) to a specific design provided by our design partners. The websites we build are not your typical 'run of the mill' websites.

We recognise the importance of self management, drive and problem solving. Urgent issues / hotfixes can occasionally be pushed through as high priority, and you will need to be prepared to jump on these issues as they arise. Support and working as a team is at the heart of our culture at Zestcode.

To make the cut, you must have a strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility, mobile optimisation, WordPress development and Advanced Custom Fields Pro. The role would suit someone with front-end development experience.
