Housekeeper/Babysitting - Arabic or Urdu speaker

A friendly & busy family based in Chesham HP5 is looking for a full time housekeeper/cook/nanny to join their household. This is a live out role and you should be able to commute easily to the property.

Package Offered

• £28,000 - £32,000 gross per year depending on experience
• Working 42.5 hours, Monday to Friday, 10am to 6.30pm

Family Background

This mixed family from a Muslim background has two children, a boy aged three and a girl aged six. The children are tri-lingual (English, French & Urdu).

Duties

You should be confident to do all the cooking, including lunch, snack and dinner. The family prefers to eat healthy halal, French/Asian fusion home-cooked food. You should be happy to follow recipes.

You should be confident with all aspects of housekeeping and be able to clean and care for the home to a high standard, with great attention to detail. Your responsibilities would involve daily and deep cleaning of the household and ensuring it is always tidy and presentable. Making beds, cleaning bathrooms and all areas of the house. You will also be responsible for laundry, ironing, organising cupboards, cleaning the fridge and ensuring that the home is generally well-presented and cared for.

From 3.00pm, your responsibilities will involve preparing a healthy snack for the children, setting the table for them, playing with them, shower & pyjama, preparing the table for dinner.

You will NOT be required to do the school run, nor drive the children to their after school clubs as the parents will tend to this. During half-term, the role will also involve organising fun activities for the children crafts, painting, playing board/card games, singing, etc...

Location

The property is located in Chesham, HP5. This is a live out role, and the successful candidate will be able to easily commute. No travelling abroad required.

Languages

You must speak a good level of English or French or Urdu to communicate with the family.

Special Skills

You must be highly organised and have great attention to detail in relation to housekeeping. You should be happy to cook and follow recipes. You should be familiar with Muslim practices.
