Role purpose of the Housekeeper / Commercial Cleaner:

• General duties as directed by on site supervision
• Cleaning
• Toilet cleaning
• Sorting cardboard
• Keeping work area tidy and clear from rubbish
• Lifting and shifting
• Commercial cleaners clean, dust, scrub, wipe and polish floors, furniture, fixtures and machinery. The also remove any rubbish from the site. Work locations are commercial, industrial or residential properties, including schools, offices, hospitals, factories, industrial facilities and construction sites.
• Use of cleaning products in order to achieve and maintain high cleaning standards in line with service level requirements to a hotel standard guest rooms.
• Cleaning in houses and apartments (mostly weekly & fortnightly).
• Choose from cleaning work to fit your schedule.
• Experienced in using Deep carpet Cleaning equipment.
• Experienced in using Deep Floor Cleaning equipment.etc
• Undertake successfully all training required to deliver the cleaning role.
• Workers will be ready to work within a team and can work under their self- initiative.
• Take care of the premises to a high standard level of client satisfaction, carrying out all tasks as directed by the head-cleaners.
• To ensure all equipment is kept clean, well maintained and is a safe working order.
• To have experience of all cleaning equipment, materials.
• To build positive and productive working relationships with all customers, delivering excellent customer service and seeking ways to continuously improve and exceed expectations.
• Cleaning experience is existing however training can be provided

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

• Darwen: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

• cleaning: 1 year (required)
• janitorial: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
