Monday-Friday (7.30am-4.00pm) plus Saturdays (7.30am-3.00pm) on a rota basis

The Opportunity:
As part of the Sedgemoor Depot team, your main responsibilities will include:
- Picking orders, recording and checking stock, collating paperwork, yard picking
- Loading customers orders directly into their vehicles and preparing order to be delivered directly to farms
- Dealing with customers face to face in a professional manner
- Placing all incoming goods in an organised and efficient manner, and identifying stock anomalies and taking appropriate action
- Storing chemicals and hazardous goods in the correct manner
- Operating a forklift truck whilst adhering to requisite Health and Safety standards
- Participating in any duties in the interests of Health & Safety, including COSHH compliance, Spillage clean-up, and safe manual handling
The Person:
The successful candidate will be
- Able to carry out a manual handling role, and be able to lift 25kg in a safe manner
- Able to drive a Counterbalance Forklift, with appropriate licence/s (Training may be provided for a suitable candidate)
- Self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative
- Able to memorise stock locations
- Professional towards supporting customers needs
- Able to demonstrate previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment
