Position Overview & Specifications

Job Title: Food and Beverage and Events Manager

Job Summary:

Our company is seeking a talented and experienced Food and Beverage and Events Manager to oversee the food and beverage operations across our group of restaurants on holiday parks, as well as organise events within the parks. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing processes and training staff to ensure excellence in customer service and food quality, as well as planning and executing successful events.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day operations of all food and beverage outlets within the holiday parks, including restaurants, bars, and cafes.

Develop and implement standard operating procedures for food and beverage service, ensuring consistency across all outlets.

Recruit, train, and manage staff, providing ongoing training and coaching to ensure they deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of food quality.

Monitor and control costs, including food and beverage inventory, labour costs, and other expenses, to achieve profitability targets.

Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, events, and sales, to develop and implement promotions, events, and activities that drive business.

Organise and execute events, such as weddings, corporate events, and other celebrations, in the parks and within the restaurants.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and licensing requirements.

Maintain excellent relationships with suppliers and negotiate favourable pricing and terms to support the business.

Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance the customer experience.

Continually evaluate the food and beverage offering, menu design, and pricing to ensure it remains competitive and meets customer expectations.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, implementing changes and improvements where necessary.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 5 years' experience in a food and beverage management role, ideally within the hospitality industry.

Excellent knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory management, cost control, and staff training.

Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.

Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for providing an excellent customer experience.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, customers, and suppliers.

Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and achieve profitability targets.

Experience in event management, including planning, organising, and executing successful events.

A degree or diploma in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
