Agricultural Labourer – Nottinghamshire

Wold Farms are part of leading industry food producer Cranswick PLC and we have a number of outdoor pig farms across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and North Nottinghamshire. We breed and rear our pigs to RSPCA Assured Standards and due to business expansion, we have roles available for Agricultural Labourers working across our farms in Nottinghamshire. Job responsibilities of an Agricultural Maintenance Person:

• To provide general maintenance and labouring support across all farm sites, including preparing and building new accommodation for livestock
• Controlling grass growth where necessary, operating handheld strimming machines and tractor mounted toppers
• Driving tractors and off-road forklifts to move equipment on site and between farms
• Delivering supplies of larger equipment to the farm sites
• Erecting standard and electric fencing

You will need:

• Self-motivation with a strong work ethic
• Strong practical skillset
• The ability to prioritise and complete tasks fully and timely
• Good communication skills
• UK driving licence is desirable
• Forklift licence is desirable
