Toolmaker – Job Summary:

We’re supporting our client, a leading Injection Moulding manufacturer based in Corby, who are looking for a Toolmaker to join their growing team. The successful Toolmaker will have experience of Injection Moulding, Toolmaking, and toolroom machinery.

Salary: Circa £35,000

Job Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities:

• Repairing, modifying and maintaining all existing production tooling
• Service a range of mould Tooling
• Operating all toolroom plant and machinery safely
• Provide continuous improvement
• Log any completed tool maintenance and repair work
• Use of Toolroom database
• Ensure correct marking and labelling of tools
• Rectify problems quickly and effectively
• Quality checking

About You:

• Have plastic injection mould tool experience in a similar role.
• Relevant tooling qualifications (Apprenticeship, HNC etc)
• Industry experience within plastics/injection moulding is essential.
• CNC, CAD/CAM experience is desirable but not essential.
• Experience with hot runner systems/valve gates and manifolds would be advantageous.
