Contract – Permanent
Contacted Hours – 35 hours per week
Shift Pattern – Monday to Friday 4.00pm to 12.00am

Salary - £11.95

This is a full time, permanent vacancy as a Driver to manage stock and transport it between our offsite stockroom and the store, making sure that we always have the stock on-hand to keep our customers coming back time after time. This is an essential role to the success of the store. A drivers license is essential to the role as you'll be driving a half tonne van with a tail-lift, full training is provided for this.

Here at WHSmith, it’s all about the customer. That means being helpful, listening and talking to them, no matter how busy you are. In fact, you’ll be an all-round customer service superstar, who can understand exactly what each customer wants. That means product knowledge is very important too. Naturally, you’ll have a great team there to help you. You’ll need to work together to keep the store well stocked and tidy, even when it’s busy.

Who we’re looking for
We're looking for someone who enjoys driving and can be responsible for the security of our stock in transit - getting things safely and securely from A to B. We’re looking for people who have a real desire to learn and to make our customers happy! You’ll need to be a great listener, good to talk to and naturally helpful.
