Trainee Auto Locksmith

We are on the look out for Trainee Auto Locksmiths to join our expanding team!

We’ve Got The Key we are a national auto locksmith business operating across the UK and Ireland. We are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and can travel out to our customers locations – whether at home or by the roadside.

Whether locked out of their vehicle, lost or stolen keys, or simply a customer wanting a spare in case of emergency, we can help. All our auto locksmiths are fully qualified and provide professional, high-quality workmanship.

Our team of call handlers are highly trained and understand that customers finding themselves in a difficult situation can be stressful. They are empathetic, responsive, and efficient in finding a resolution for you and provide constant updates on the progress of cases.

Covering the UK 24/7 this job is suitable for those with a background or strong interest in Mechanics / Engineering. All applicants will require 5 years driving experience.

Shift pattern of 4 days on, 2 days off.

What does this job entail:

• Programming Remote Keys
• Cutting Key Blades
• Driving a mobile locksmith van to customers addresses
• Repairing keys
• Replacing locks / ignitions
• Gaining access to vehicles

After intensive training you will develop in depth knowledge of both the mechanical and electronic parts of the Auto Locksmith process, you will have the ability to start practicing as a knowledgeable Auto locksmith.

Once qualified you will be working all over the country as work dictates, occasionally staying out overnight in accommodation provided by the company.

Within 12 months (subject to performance) once qualified you will be paid £36,000 per annum as a basic salary with OTE circa £42,000.
