The Select Healthcare Group is a family run business that was founded in the 1980’s with just one residential care home. Over the past three decades we have rapidly expanded our family of care homes and now have facilities in some of the most beautiful, relaxing surroundings in England. We currently have 36 care homes covering Mental Health, Nursing, Learning Difficulties, Rehabilitation, Challenging behaviours and residential care.

Wantsum Lodge Care Home is located within the bustling town of Ramsgate. Lodge Care Home is located close to the West Cliff Promenade in Ramsgate which provides accommodation for 41 residents.

About the role

The role of a Care Assistant at Select is to provide high quality personal care, support our Residents needs and provide person-centred care. You need to be kind, compassionate and want to make a difference to our Residents lives, after all, you are in their home. We pride ourselves on training, and you will receive training from your first day of work.

What we need from you

The position is to cover annual leave and sickness.

Experience within a Care Home is essential

Any Care qualification would be desirable

All roles will be subject to a successful fully enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS)

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 12 per week

Salary: £10.42 per hour
