Lifeguard

If you’re looking for a Lifeguard seasonal job, then you’ve come to the right place! We have seasonal lifeguard positions available at our Outdoor Swimming Pool on a full time and part time basis.

Lifeguard Duties and Responsibilities

Lifeguards are fully qualified in water safety and must rescue swimmers who are sick, distressed or hurt. They may also do the following:

• Lifeguarding the outdoor swimming pool and ensuring all water safety policies and pool regulations are carried out in accordance to the Safety Operating Procedures
• Providing first aid in the event of injury, rescuing swimmers in danger or distress and administering (CPR) if necessary
• Assessing the weather and poolside conditions for any safety issues and following the swimming pool emergency action plan
• Inspecting pool equipment and furniture e.g. reach poles, throw bags, torpedo buoy, chairs, tables and sunbeds etc.
• Assisting in daily cleaning activities
• Opening and closing of the outdoor swimming pool
• Pool attendant duties to monitor maximum bather loads
• Pool tests to be carried out every 2 hours (training provided)
• Providing excellent customer service to all of our guests

Lifeguard & Training Requirements

Lifeguards MUST have a valid UK National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or equivalent to be considered for this role.

• Lifeguards will be required to work on a shift basis including weekends.

Salary: £10.00-£10.50 per hour
