Safety Technician – Port Talbot
Our Safety Technicians are responsible for calibrating, servicing, and repairing a variety of safety and communications equipment, in line with manufacturers’ requirements.
Safety equipment is used in lifesaving activities such as fall arrest, confined space equipment, gas detection, and breathing air, including trailers.

Duties include
Testing and running of all safety equipment in line with the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) requirements across a variety of manufacturers to a consistently high standard.
Fully service a limited amount of both hire and customer equipment across a variety of manufacturers to a consistently high standard.
Use third-party software to record servicing, and consumption of spare parts and obtain and interpret technical information.
Provide the end user with information around the safe operation of the equipment in line with the operating guides.
Identify upcoming spare part shortages and equipment.
