Position Description




We have a rare and exciting opportunity to join our award-winning Marketing and Communications team! We’re looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our site in Motherwell on 12-month fixed term contract. Our team won 5 awards last year for Brand Development, International Marketing Campaign, Brand Experience, Inspirational Marketing Leader (line manager for this very role) and Marketing Team of the Year. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and driven individual to make a real impact to our Motherwell site. As our Marketing Assistant you will be a key member of our busy team responsible for administrative support for all our projects and activities.

Key Duties Include:
  • First point of contact for the marketing and communications team, for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supporting our marketing and communications team on a range of innovative marketing activities, both online and offline.
  • Logging and administering of dealer co-op expenses, processing purchase orders and reconciling of Invoices.
  • Work with the marketing team to maintain the marketing budgets for monthly reporting.
  • Coordinating design, mailing, uploading and printing of various marketing material
  • Ensure all copywriting and imagery is on par with the brand guidelines
  • Work with various external suppliers, used to support the marketing objectives
  • Administration of customer satisfaction surveys and reporting.
  • Update, maintain and edit the website and digital portals as and when needed ensuring all content is up to date and user friendly
  • Supporting the Events and Marketing Specialist in managing the factory experience programme, key customer visits and internal events.
  • Attend regular internal meetings, to report on marketing activities undertaken and suggest new initiatives to engage with our customers and meet KPIs.
  • Suggesting ways to improve our customers’ digital experience.
  • Conducting competitor research.
  • Keep on top of our current merchandise stock and keep stock levels updated. Organising shipping of merchandise to our dealers and customers when required.
  • Responsible for business cards and uniform orders for staff
Personal Skills and Competencies
  • Experienced administrator (essential) with a minimum of one years marketing experience (desirable)
  • Hard working with a ‘can do attitude’
  • Willing to learn and develop new skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work comfortably under pressure, supporting multiple projects
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications
  • Familiar with tools such as Google Analytics and CRM data to help track and report on our performance.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills with an eye for detail
  • Strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders and a team player
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and a readiness to take responsibility for your work
  • Experience in working in a fast paced and hybrid working environment
