Community Volunteer Driver

Job description

Volunteer Cornwall is a leading charity in Cornwall. Every year we help around 50,000 people get to hospital, educational and vaccination appointments, visit family, or attend activities through our community transport scheme.

We are looking for volunteers to assist their local communities by becoming volunteer drivers (BASED IN CORNWALL). Our drivers transport passengers from all walks of life in their own vehicle to destinations all throughout Cornwall. The office will then reimburse your mileage at 45p per mile (starting from the moment you leave your home) and any other out of pocket expenses such as parking or bridge tolls. You will be paid no less than £9.00 per trip - even for journeys under 20 miles (Our minimum journey charge).
