Group Fleet Strategy Project Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Group Fleet and Insights Operations team as a Group Fleet Strategy Project Manager on a full time permanent basis.

This is a leadership role, taking ownership in driving implementation of key strategic projects in tandem with tracking progress of all strategic initiatives across the Fleet. You'll take direct responsibility as business lead for certain complex, ‘unknown outcome' projects e.g., evolve existing online/eCommerce Fleet capability.

Some of the many key activities delivered in this role include; acting as the consolidated ‘Voice of Fleet' within cross-functional Group projects, for example, systems programme, designing, managing and driving the implementation of projects of key strategic initiatives, and engaging with Brand factories, Group Fleet International and VWFS Fleet to ensure a common understanding of the UK's Fleet strategy and liaising with other markets to develop best-practice for operations and support of future initiatives.

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate high levels of drive and determination, possessing emotional intelligence and a motivational attitude to succeed in team leadership. You'll be a strong critical thinker, confident taking topics where the desired out outcome is unknown, developing a customer centric solution that is deliverable. You'll need diverse experience across strategic areas (Brand, Customer, Product, Network) to provide expertise/input across a variety of projects, ensuring a holistic approach between workstreams.
