Head Registered Veterinary Nurse - Full Time - Doncaster Vets4Pets

We are looking for an Experienced, enthusiastic Head RVN to join our friendly practice, to complement our excellent nursing team at Doncaster Vets4Pets.

About us:
We are in an excellent location, close to A1, M1 and M18, 10 min walk from Doncaster town centre.
You’ll be joining a friendly team of 2 Vets (1 Lead), 4 RVNs, 1 SVNs, 1 VCA, 5 CCAs and a Practice Manager.
We have recently extended through to next door so we have a lovely big practice with its own dental suit and xray, all the usual in house goodies ( normal xray, ultrasound, ECG etc), 5 consult rooms and 2 prep areas.
We are Practice standards and also a training practice for student nurses.

About you and the role:
You will have the opportunity to use your nursing skills to their full potential including theatre work and nurse consults.
You will help with the daily running of the practice to ensure a high standard care for Patients and Clients. Nurses are the heart of our practice and perform an integral clinical role in caring for our patients.
You must be comfortable with leading by example, has great communication and organisation skills and takes pride in working to a high standard.
You will have an interest in and want to learn about the practice as a business as well as how to motivate a team to achieve their personal and practice goals.
Ideally you will have experience of and enjoy coaching and mentoring student nurses.
Rota: 1 Saturday in 4 with no OOH cover or Sunday work. Bank holidays on a rota basis so everyone works and is fair.
You will also be comfortable with undertaking all aspects of nursing in this role.
