Assistant Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for applicants who have experience in Accountsto join our team in Vertu Motors Honda Lincoln.

This is an office based, full-time, permanent role where we are offering a basic salary up to £26,000 depending upon experience plus company benefits!

You will work alongside the Accountant in the production of spreadsheets and statistical data to support the management team and support with business decisions.

Your daily activities will include:

• Balance sheet reconciliations (Excel)
• Accrual and Prepayments (Excel)
• Payroll data input and submission (Excel)
• Purchase ledger and banking
• Monthly vehicle stock checks

If you do not have the experience already, this is an exciting opportunity for you to develop your skills in the following areas:

• Forecasts
• Estimates
• Data productions for management meetings

The ideal candidate will have experience in general accounts functions, who is looking to take the next step up. A working knowledge of Kerridge is desirable but not essential. You will have the ability to communicate effectively with all colleagues, clients and customers. A full driving licence for this role is essential.

We are looking for the following attributes:

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft packages
• Good organisational Skills
• Excellent communication skills.
