Position Overview & Specifications

The Role – Account Manager

UR.co.uk is a market-leading, UK eCommerce business established in 2010 and continuing to grow year on year. We have ambitious growth plans over the next 3 years and are looking for a creative, forward-thinking individual to join a passionate and ambitious team.

After recent success, we are expanding our sales team. If you have previous experience of delivering nothing short of the best service, then we want to hear from you.

This role involves developing new business opportunities within the mobile telecoms industry and opening up new accounts in the UK and Europe. You’ll be supported during the training process and taught everything you need to know about the industry, and how to succeed.

We’re looking for next-level talent with grit and determination to join us on our journey to becoming No 1 in our sector. So, if you already have experience of developing sales in the mobile phone industry then we want to hear from you.

Main duties and responsibilities:

· Researching and developing new customers

· Developing existing customer relationships.

· Managing customer sales including delivery, timing, cost and quality issues by maintaining and developing customer confidence.

· Ongoing analysis of customer requirements to develop these accounts

· Pro-actively working with the Operational teams to ensure SLAs are met and exceeded.

This exciting role would suit a buyer, sales or BDM with a strong B2B wholesale background, preferably in the Mobile Telecoms industry, but not essential.

· Significant experience within a buying and selling function

· Exposure to selling as part of a wholesale and retail environment beneficial but not essential

· Have a proven track record of delivering to a sales, margin and stock budget

· Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information and deliver effectively across all levels of a business

· Strong attention to detail, sense of urgency and adaptability under pressure

· Positive mind set and can-do attitude; Reactive and customer-focused, with finger on the pulse of current trends

· Ability to work independently, or as part of a group, to prioritise multiple concurrent projects, and meet deadlines with a high level of personal organisation

· An understanding of the life cycle of a product in a seasonally reactive business.

· A proven understanding of Far East Sourcing (FOB), Manufacturing and QA/C – beneficial but not essential

· Sound numeracy and analytical skills

· Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

· Genuine desire to provide great service

· Desire to be in a sales role/environment

· Highly motivated, ambitious and confident.

· An outgoing personality, tenacious attitude and good listening skills.

· Fully conversant with Microsoft Windows and Office products including Excel.
