Facilities Manager - Security/Front of House

• Monitor and review working practises and procedures and update operational guidelines as required
• Liaise on a regular basis with the Operations Managers/General Manager, Residence Managers, University Wardens Service and Security Managers.
• Maintain and manage an effective reporting system for all incidents and provide regular management reports.
• Provide operational support and advice to Duty Supervisors regarding operations, customer service, health & safety, site security, welfare support and incident response
• Establish and maintain an out of hours helpdesk for UPP central region
• Respond effectively to any critical incidents, complaints or crisis that arise
• Manage contract security provision, costs and standards of service, liaise with contract security provider regularly
• Prepare, implement and review site security procedures
• Assess emergency maintenance issues and escalate for support from on call staff or suitable contractor when appropriate
• Provide regular management information returns on all incidents related to student welfare and behaviour
• Assist with the recruitment, induction, training and appraisals of the FO team
