Position Overview & Specifications
The Faculty of Economics at the University of Cambridge is one of the leading, and longest standing, economics faculties in Europe. We are a dynamic, friendly and exciting place to work, where approximately 100 staff members maintain and grow our global reputation for outstanding academic achievement and world-class original research. The Cambridge Faculty of Economics undergraduate course is consistently rated No. 1 in The Complete University Guide, which means that competition for entry is stiff: with only students with top grades gaining admission. With approximately 170 undergraduates admitted each year to read for the three-year course, effective support for our staff and students is essential. We now seek to appoint a well-organised and enthusiastic Administrator to join the Undergraduate Office.
The Faculty is a dynamic, friendly and exciting place of work and is committed to supporting our staff to thrive both professionally and personally. Our Cambridge Works programme aims to support our staff to achieve a better work/life balance, whilst retaining the positive aspects of our unique in-person environment and culture. Hybrid working is available under our hybrid working policy, where staff are empowered to split their time between the office and remote working.
