An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Technical Services team as an IT Support Technician.
In this varied role, you will support IT, Media and Audio-Visual facilities at the Eastbourne site, including open access computer areas, IT teaching/training rooms and library computer facilities as well as lecture theatres and multi-purpose halls.
You will also assist with the maintenance of the portfolio of IT services on the site and feedback suggested improvement and comments.
To succeed in this role you will need:
- Qualification in a Computing, Media or other Audio-Visual related subject, and/or significant experience
- Significant previous experience of working in an IT Support role
- In depth knowledge of Media and Audio-Visual services, PC and Apple Hardware, Operating Systems and Software
- To be able organise, prioritise and manage a busy workload
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
This is a permanent post, (29.5 hours per week). Working pattern is flexible and will be agreed with the successful candidate.
Whilst this post is based at our Brighton Eastbourne, post holders at the University of Brighton may be required to work in any of the Brighton University campus.
