An exciting opportunity is available for a Hospital Play Worker working within the Paediatric team based at Derby Children's Hospital.
We are recruiting for a Band 3 Hospital Play Worker for Dolphin Ward/Paediatric Critical Care Unit (PCCCU)
We are looking for a dynamic individual with compassion and an inspiring attitude to support patients and their families through their hospital journey.
This position is on a general paediatric ward (patients 0-18) with a High Dependency Unit attached.
Creating a child and young person focused environment you will be responsible for encouraging and organising age related therapeutic and normalising play and for the use of distraction.
The post is a 30-hour contract covering a seven-day service.
