Position Overview & Specifications

Do you have a passion for great online user experience and a keen eye for detail? We’re looking for an enthusiastic Digital Communications Assistant to help us improve and maintain our website, intranet and other digital channels.

There’s never been a more exciting time to join our Web Team. You’ll play a key part in our intranet redevelopment programme, as well as helping us to complete and maintain key website projects.

You’ll need to be able to work well on your own, and with the rest of the team to deliver high-quality digital material, often to a tight deadline. From building a landing page, to writing an email bulletin; from proof reading, to designing images for social media – this is a varied and challenging role.

While we’re looking for basic web publishing know-how, editorial skill is more important than your ability to develop a website from scratch, so you’ll need to display excellent written English. We’ll give you lots of opportunities to level up your creative and technical expertise, with protected training time and funding for courses in design, development and more.

As well as a generous leave allowance, NHS pension, health service discounts and other staff benefits, we like to offer our team members the chance to progress and take their career to the next level.

Our friendly team will help you to settle in to this fast-paced environment in no time. As well as helping you to grow, we also look forward to learning from your knowledge and experience.
