In a nutshell, you will be responsible for the innovative design and layout of our client's websites from concept all the way to completion from the bottom up, fashioning everything from the home page to site layout.

This is a hybrid role with 3 days office based and 2 working from home so you MUST live within a commutable distance to Leicester city centre

As a Web Designer at Unity, you’ll have the opportunity to:

• Assist in creating awesome marketing strategies through stunning design and front end development.
• Involve yourself in the team strategy development of digital marketing campaigns in line with our SEO, PPC and Social Media team.
• Plan and deliver functional and beautiful websites from the ground up to and work alongside our award-winning in-house marketing teams to execute a powerful web presence that makes a real, measurable difference to our clients.
• Deliver project roadmaps integrating with the clients wider marketing strategy.
• Implement new ideas, techniques, technologies, processes and methodologies.
• Support our agency partners for ‘white label’ projects.
• Work directly with clients and have strategic conversations with decision makers to develop a solution that best feeds their requirements and end goal

We’re looking for a Web Designer that:

• Is experienced in designing bespoke, responsive and search engine friendly websites in an agency environment without relying on themes and templates.
• Is experienced in design and development within WordPress and Woocommerce (Shopify, BigCommerce and Magento 2 preferable but not essential).
• · Has a working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• · Is able to Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, diagrams, and sitemaps.
• · Has extensive experience with Adobe XD, Photoshop & Illustrator. Figma will be a plus
• Has digital design experience with a strong understanding of branding, user experience, a/b testing, marketing and conversion rate optimisation.
• Is able to work on multiple projects, manage your own time and project deadlines, and demonstrate good critical thinking abilities.
• Is organised, can work on multiple projects at any one time and can work to deadlines
• Has strong client communication skills
• Is experienced with user tracking technologies such as Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics preferable

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
