Since becoming an academy in September 2009, Kettering Buccleuch Academy has seen many exciting changes. We are an all-through academy catering for students aged 4-18. We moved into our new, purpose-built building in January 2013. Cleaner

Location: Kettering

Salary: £10.50 per hour

The role

We are looking for an experienced cleaner to join our facilities cleaning team as soon as possible on a morning shift, working from 5.00am until 7.30am Monday to Friday (actual salary £6,012.56). The post holder is expected to work during term time, plus training days and one additional week in the academy’s summer break. Flexibility is essential. Extra shifts may also be available from time to time.

You will help to provide a high standard of care and maintenance to the academy site and undertake a full range of cleaning duties using domestic and industrial cleaning equipment to ensure all areas of the academy are maintained to a specified quality standard. Duties will involve cleaning floors, all internal surfaces including walls, windows, work surfaces etc., emptying waste paper bins and replenishing sanitary and hygiene supplies e.g. soap, hand towels and toilet rolls.

About You

You will ideally have prior experience of cleaning in a school or other industrial setting. You will be able to maintain the high standards expected of the cleaning team and have energy and commitment to the role.
