Position Overview & Specifications

We are actively looking for a Product Owner to join our International Team to lead the definition and roadmap for key ancillary products including Travel Insurance and Car Hire.

The role holder will play a key role in the transformation of TUI, working on an exciting technology change project that spans twelve of TUI’s operating countries. The PO will work as part of a team of seven product owners partnering with technology teams to deliver ancillary capability that maximises commercial and customer benefits, whilst enabling flexibility to build new types of products in the future.


As Product Owner you would be responsible for translating business requirements to a product roadmap, working with the development teams to plan, prioritise and deliver an ancillary portfolio. The successful candidate must have an understanding of Agile technology change, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills and highly organised at managing a product backlog.


You can work from any of our main European offices which are located in UK, Germany, Nordics, Belgium or Netherlands – all offices offer hybrid ways of working.

ABOUT THE JOB


  • Contribute to the ancillary vision and roadmap, translating business needs into requirements
  • Define, develop and prioritise the product backlog management and delivery
  • Liaise closely with a variety of international stakeholders, building strong working relationships
  • Deliver enhancements & new features as part of a large international technology programme
  • Role will involve some international travel

ABOUT YOU


  • Ability to translate high level business requirements into business solutions and to work with technology teams to clarify solutions at a detailed level and validate designs
  • Excellent communication skills, able to communicate the Ancillary Strategy to stakeholders
  • Experience managing, organising and driving technology change
  • Ability to understand analytics to improve performance and make informed decisions
  • Good interpersonal and influencing skills, can motivate a team
  • Able to contribute to making clear and well-thought recommendations to influence decisions and is confident to make decisions, even when all the desired data may not be available
  • You can translate business problems into requirements
  • Experience in proactively identifying opportunities and problem solving
