Production Operatives

Due to continued expansion, TuffX Processed Glass Ltd are looking to recruit both Temporary and Permanent Production Operatives to work at our production facility at Knowsley Business Park.

We presently have a number of vacancies in several departments covering various shift patterns as follows:

Alternating shift pattern, between the hours of 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm, 37 hours a week Monday to Friday.

Night staff vacancies, working 6pm to 2am also 10pm to 6am shifts available 37 hours a week Monday to Friday.

Production Operative’s duties are varied and include the following:

• Loading vehicles for delivery of finished products
• General labouring duties involving manual handling of glass
• Furnace Operations
• Glass Cutting
• Processing and Laminating of glass
• Operation of machinery

We offer competitive rates of Basic pay, between £9.25 and £10.50 per hour. plus additional enhancements including Shift Allowances and Night Rate Allowances. Applicants with proven experience of working within the glass industry may expect a higher starting rate. Immediate starts are available after completing our induction and Health & Safety training. Full PPE will be provided to the successful applicants.

Previous experience of Glass Manufacturing, or working within another manufacturing environment would be desirable, but not essential, as we offer full initial and ongoing job training and development with the opportunity to progress within the organisation.
