Temporary Packer

We are currently looking to recruit a full time, temporary Packer to join the team.

The Role:

The main responsibilities of the role are:

· Ensure Slitting machines are supplied with the correct rolls and cores for production.

· All unused materials are returned to storage and empty stillages are removed.

· Pack and label finished goods.

· Ensure all supporting documentation is correct and in place.

This role reports to the Converting Team Leader, the successful candidate must comply with company Health & Safety policies and show an ability to work effectively and efficiently within a team environment, be flexible and willing to learn.

Hours of Work:

A 3-week rota system during which 10 x 12-hour shifts are worked Monday to Friday in accordance with the schedule.

This is a 3-shift rota. Hours of work are day shifts 7.00am – 7.00pm and night shifts 7.00pm – 7.00am. Overtime may be required to support business needs.

The Entry Grade annual salary is £33,290.06.

Experience:

The successful candidate must be capable of working to meet productivity targets whilst ensuring finished products conform to specifications. The ability to prioritise and plan is important. The candidate will also be required to use an FLT.
