The role*

This role has been created to assist with TopCashback’s Chinese-speaking marketing and communication activities, which focuses on influencers marketing and public relationship campaigns. It will involve learning the market inside-out to advise on, support and enhance the company’s communications activity with KoLs, KoCs, members, media, and/or other audiences. Our preferred candidates have a minimum of 3 years' experience in influencer marketing, PR, and affiliate marketing - ideally in the fashion, beauty, lifestyle or travel sectors, with a strong understanding of the consumer behaviour of Chinese speaking communities in North America.

Within our China department, and you would be joining a dedicated team tasked with growing and shaping the direction of TopCashback Chinese markets globally. The person will manage influencer marketing and social media communication at executive level. It will involve planning marketing campaigns and delivering strong ROI through influencers/KOLs/KOCs and mainstream social media platforms. Reporting to Marketing Communication Manager, the role will be based at TopCashback’s head office in Stafford (2 days WFH per week).

Full training is provided.

Key responsibilities:*

• Continuously remain up to date with Chinese speaking consumer behaviours, news and trends in the US and the rest of the world
• Identify, establish and maintain a catalogue of influencers contacts across different social media platforms
• Drive the process of influencer onboarding, collaborating with the international teams and merchants to ensure that influencers are vetted according to brand guidelines.
• Inspire and create content with influencers/media to achieve business objectives
• Monitor influencers/media coverages and collect monthly data for reporting
• Promote products, services and produce content over own social media, in a way that is consistent with company brand and social media strategy
• Contribute ideas for marketing communication campaigns
• Assist in negotiating scripts and budgets for campaigns
• General admin, research and other ad hoc tasks

Ideal candidates should:*

• Be familiar with the social media platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Little Red Book, Bilibili, and live streaming, both for content and creators
• Rich experience in e-commerce of the US market (1 year minimum)

• Be aware of social media trends and react quickly towards them across communication channels
• Experience with influencer/publishers sell-ins and the ability to match content with brand requirements.
• A creative flair, generating new ideas and commanding the ability to think outside-the-box
• Analytical skills, with the ability to unpick results and suggest improvements to strategies
• Attention to detail and a natural sense to prioritise tasks

• Native level in Mandarin, fluent English in both writing and speaking
• Influencer networks and experience managing in the US are a plus
• Slides and presentation skills
