The Terrace Bar is a growing late night lounge in Rushden Lakes. We are professional, agile and customer-centric. Currently undergoing some internal renovations to provide a great evening out, unlike anything else in Northamptonshire!

As the Bar Manager of The Terrace, Rushden Lakes you will be responisble for the success of the business.

Taking ownership of the bar you will make changes to the menu's, ensure the success and development of your staff, have a passion for customer service and work alongside your team to provide an overall fantastic experience for our customers.

Your main duties will include:

• Leading a team of staff by example, pitching in to help with drink mixing or table service where necessary
• Ensuring the bar is fully staffed, particularly during peak times. Including hiring and training staff.
• Meeting sales and profitability targets
• Creating a welcoming environment for customers
• Ensuring consistent, high quality food and beverages are served to customers
• Dealing with customer feedback and providing adequate solutions to customer complaints
• Creating a positive work environment for staff and encouraging their career development
• Monitoring inventory of food and beverages to ensure adequate stock, including stock ordering
• Overseeing the cleanliness of staff and the physical bar area and paying attention to possible health hazards and regulation violations
• Cash handling.

Ideally you will have a proven track record of running a successful cocktail bar and hold your personal licence and minimum of a first aid at work.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £24,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
