The role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Data Science & Insights team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a Data and Analytics Engineer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining organisation wide analytics and reporting. The role is highly technical and hands-on, and involves running projects to ensure that data is consolidated, standardised and accessible in a manner that is useful to the business. You will play a key role in data management, consolidation, reporting and analytics delivery across the RSC, ensuring a better use of data as an asset and a joined-up, shared view of customers, products and services.


What we are looking for:

  • Substantial experience using BI platforms (e.g. Microsoft PowerBI) to deliver data and visualisations to a range of business users
  • Demonstrable experience in data analysis, interpretation and visualisation
  • Substantial experience working with data warehousing technologies (e.g. AWS Redshift, Snowflake)
  • Strong programming skills and experience with ETL and data pipelines (e.g. Python, SQL).
  • Experience in data standardisation and QA techniques.
  • Able to confidently work within a team and independently and clearly communicate technical concepts to both a technical and a non-technical audience.
