About Us

The Parks Trust is an independent charity that cares for over 6,000 acres of parkland and green space in Milton Keynes. This includes the river valleys, ancient woodlands, lakesides, parks and landscaped areas alongside the main roads that represent 25% of the city.

The Role

We’re looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic, and active individual to help us deliver a wide range of events and recreation activities in our parks and open spaces.

You'll join our busy team as an Events & Recreation Assistant to help deliver our events and activities programme, working with our volunteers and supporting community groups and others to facilitate events and activities within the parks.

About You

The successful applicant will have a passion for working outdoors and willing to support our busy Events & Community Engagement Team with a variety of duties including getting hands on experience in delivering events, community, and recreational activities.

It is important that you enjoy working with members of the public and are fully prepared for delivering events large and small including setting up and taking down.

This role would suit an individual at the beginning of their events and recreation career.

A flexible approach is necessary as hours may vary and will include weekend and evening work.
