Store Associate

The Naked Marshmallow Co. is a gourmet confectionery manufacturer and retailer based in Lincoln, UK. They specialise in marshmallow and chocolate-enrobed marshmallow products.

In August last year, the company launched its first physical store on Steep Hill, Lincoln, with further locations planned this year across the UK. They are currently recruiting two part-time positions for their Steep Hill store.

They are looking for passionate, enthusiastic and confident individuals who are able to consistently offer the highest levels of customer service, whilst positively representing the brand.

You should be confident with working alone during quieter times as well as being able to quickly adapt to a more fast-paced environment during peak times - communicating with and supporting other members of the team.

No previous experience is required as full training will be given but you should be a good listener and a fast learner.

Two part time positions are currently available ranging from 12-20 hours, additional hours are usually available, but optional. Weekday and weekend flexible is required for all staff/positions.

Main duties to include:

Opening and closing procedures (set-up/clean-down)

Serving hot and cold beverages, including the use of a barista machine

Selling a selection of our retail products to customers and having the confidence and knowledge to speak with customers about our product range in detail (no hard selling!)

Cash handling, card payments and using a POS system

Ensuring excellent stock rotation, allergen control and cross contamination prevention.

Maintaining the highest possible standards with regard to food hygiene, food safety, house keeping/general cleanliness and personal hygiene.
