Fireplace Showroom & Customer Sales Advisor

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Office/Showroom team at Fireplace Gallery Fires & Stoves. We have 2 showrooms, and you will either be based in Gloucester or Cheltenham, this can be discussed during interview.

We are a very well-established business and are ideally looking for someone who would like to grow with the company over time.

This full-time position is for 5 days per week (4 weekdays and a Saturday morning), and the hours are: 9am–5pm weekdays and 8.45am–1.15pm on a Saturday with one Saturday off per month.

As a business we do not open on a Sunday and are closed bank holiday weekends and for just over 1 week over Christmas and New Year.

This is a specialised knowledgeable role, and although previous experience of the fireplace industry, showroom sales, or office experience is preferred, it is not essential as full training will be given.

We would like someone who is able to show initiative, work well within a friendly team environment and is confident with customers.

This permanent role will involve:

• Face to face Showroom sales and advice of Gas, Electric and Solid fuel fires and surrounds
• Processing orders (computer based)
• Taking telephone orders and customer phone calls
• Ordering of products (online and by phone)
• Liaising with the field-based engineers
• Liaising with manufacturers/suppliers
• Planning engineer diary and booking jobs
• Social Media advertising/promotion
• Reporting to the showroom manager and directors

The applicant must be:

• Computer literate and competent
• Polite, friendly, approachable and adaptable
• Be able to work under pressure and prioritise during busy periods.
• Work as part of a team
• Think outside the box!
• Driving licence beneficial

Package

• Starting salary between £20,500 - £24,000 pa, subject to negotiation depending on the individuals experience, plus annual bonus
• Full time, (3 weeks of 4.5 days and 1 week of 5 days a week)
• 28 days annual leave (inclusive of Bank Holidays)
• 30 mins paid lunch break.
