General Operative

We are a new Manufacturing company producing High Quality Premium Raw Dog food based in Rochdale.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team.

Roles include:

- Prepping vegetables and raw materials.

- Handling sharp equipment including knives.

- Using vacuum fillers and other large machinery.

- Picking and packing off products ready for distribution

- Conduct quality and safety checks

- Monitor production line

- Ensure all food hygiene safety is adhered to.

- Ensure Health and safety procedures in the work area are strictly followed

- Must be physically fit as some lifting involved

- Must be driven to learn, work hard and adapt to a fast paced environment.

- Previous experience in food production would be preferred but not essential as training will be given.

- Flexible to long shifts as there is plenty of hours available.

- Driving license preferred but not essential, but extra hours available delivering if wanted.

This position will start as a self employed ( you will be responsible for paying your own Tax, Ni etc), however will have the option to be contracted in the future.

Short probation period (4 weeks) leading to a full time employment for the right applicant.
