Trade Plate Driver

This is a permanent full time position working as Trade Plate Driver for a family run used car and van dealership in Hillsborough, Sheffield.

The position involves the collection and delivery of vehicles we buy and sell throughout the UK and would suit an experienced Trade Plate Driver.

To be considered for this position you must be living within Sheffield or the surrounding area.

The Role in Brief:

• The collection and delivery of cars and light commercial vehicles door to door to and from all parts of the UK.
• Using handheld vehicle appraisal software to carry out vehicle appraisals for defects and damage prior to movement of each vehicle.
• Travelling expenses for fuel, train, transport and associated expenses will be provided for through a company expenses card.

Your Skills in Brief:

• Trade Plate Driving Experience
• Experienced in distance driving.
• Computer literate with emails, Excel and Google Docs.
• Familiar with train booking Apps & websites.
• Must have a smartphone and familiar with Text & WhatsApp
• Full UK driving license.
• Confident telephone manner
• Working online connected to our platforms organising your own delivery & collections.

We will provide everything required to perform your duties including trade plates, insurance, expenses card, smartphone and computer (if required).

You must conduct yourself in a professional & polite manner, have previous experience as a trade plate driver, be computer literate and work under your own initiative.

Training will be provided on all aspects of the job.

You must hold a UK driving license and pass a clear DBS check.

Salary: £500.00-£800.00 per week
