Junior Broker

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, innovative and organised individual who wants to learn and grow their career within the reinsurance market at InverRe (part of Ardonagh Specialty). Our ideal candidate will be adaptable, keen to develop and have the patience to come in and be mentored in a fulfilling Junior Broker role.

We are looking for someone with the right attitude toward learning and in return you will be provided with mentorship from some of our most experienced Brokers and a real opportunity to carve out a rewarding career.

Purpose of the Role: -

• To assist all work done within the Group Solutions team
• Will have exposure to learning across Inver Re

Key Role Accountabilities:

Role to include but not limited to:

• To support the existing members of the Group Solutions Team
• To develop relationships in the insurance /reinsurance market
• Review client submissions
• To learn to prepare underwriter submissions
• Incorporate the innovative mindset of the Group Solutions team
• Keeping track of marketing exercises
• To learn to prepare slips, wordings and endorsements.
• To learn planning, constructing and executing solutions to clients’ or potential clients’ needs; managing relationships with and servicing existing and potential clients and underwriters, all in a manner that contributes to the efforts of the Division to meet and exceed its targets.
• Negotiating insurance contracts with underwriters
