Lift manufacturer Terry Group Ltd, trading as Terry Lifts, has a requirement for an installation assistant to work in a challenging and rewarding environment. No lift industry experience necessary. Full training will be provided. Experience with power and hand tools is essential. Burnley-based. Full-time plus travel and regular overtime. Driving licence essential.

The Role

We don’t expect you to be in the Lift industry currently and full product training will be given.
Most important is an open mindedness, willingness to provide colleagues with the highest levels of support and a genuine desire to assist a successful team in achieving an ever increasing demand for its products.

Applicants require the following: Essential Skills Base

• Ability to use power tools and basic hand tools in a safe manner
• A methodical approach to problem solving
• Ability to deal with customers in a professional manner

The role involves assisting in the preparatory work and installation of a range of access products including:

• Domestic through the floor lifts; non enclosed lifting platforms; step lifts; wheelchair platform stairlifts
• Service and repair work to the above range of products

The Installation Assistant is also responsible for the following key tasks:

• Keeping the company vehicle in a clean and presentable condition
• Complying with Health and Safety requirements at all times

The role involves considerable travel and regular overtime, and applicants must be prepared to stay away from home if required. Own transport to travel to Knutsford and full driving licence is required. Current CSCS card desirable but not essential.

Full training will be given.
