About Us:

Here at Ted’s Veg, farming is in our blood. We’ve been farming now for at least four generations and we look forward to farming for generations to come. Now that we also do business with restaurants and other areas of the food world – we need some helping hands to make sure our produce gets to them on time and safe! This is where you come in.

Start Date: Immediate

Salary: The salary for this role is based mainly on experience. The more you have, the better!

Shifts: 9pm – 6am, six nights per week with the exclusion of Saturdays.

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for a hard working individual with a fine eye for detail. Prior experience in this field is required and a small test will be given to ensure you have a good understanding of fruit and veg. A driving license is preferred, but not essential.

(Red bull drinker also preferred, but not essential!)

Responsibilities

- Picking and packing from a pre-made sheet for our wholesale customers. These deliveries also go to restaurants, deli's etc.

- Be time efficient and precise

- Maintain a superb work ethic

- Have a delicate hand when manoeuvring fragile items

- Able to work well both in a team as well as on your own

Experience:

- Warehouse Pickers & Packers: 1 year (preferred)
