The Role

At Shotton we offer IET accredited apprenticeship opportunities within Computer Operations. These include an opportunity to be part of an apprenticeship where you can learn and study towards an Level 6 qualifications whilst gaining invaluable practical work experience.

The Apprenticeship

Training will be Shotton site based within the Computer operations with placements in engineering departments backed up by day release at Coleg Cambria on a Bangor University accredited degree course.

During your apprenticeship you will work towards:

• Work based competency
• BSc Applied cyber security degree

The Candidate

Each applicant is assessed on a case by case basis, depending on their own individual relevant experience.

Ideally the candidate will have minimum of a MMM at BTEC Level 3, or CCC at A Level.

ESW Communications and Application of Number need to be undertaken at Level 3 unless the learner has GCSE English and Maths.
