Talking Talent is an international coaching company with a roster of blue-chip clients mainly in professional services. Our 121 and group coaching experiences are our core offering, and we are currently seeking an IT Assistant to support the IT needs of the organisation.
The IT Assistant will report to the Technical Manager and will assist in servicing the company’s IT needs and development. The role will involve the support of software application functions and small amount of laptop and peripheral support - helping colleagues learn the technology and functionality of our systems. The IT Assistant will have a continuous and enthusiastic interest in computers, their workings and capabilities as well as an excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365 based software solutions.
Role & Responsibilities
- To assist the Technical Manager in their duties in relation to IT issues and fixes
- To provide excellent knowledge and support in Microsoft 365, Zoom and office based software solutions
- To provide excellent knowledge and support in HubSpot, Salesforce or an enterprise CRM solutions
- To help and assist colleagues with immediate IT problems and to offer solutions
- Take on supportive project tasks on larger IT projects as directed by the Technical Manager
- Set-up new Laptops, PC’s and/or phone technologies for all employees
- To ensure Company PC’s and Laptops are protected against cyber threats and remain in a secure environment
- To troubleshoot Windows and company software issues
- To configure applications and settings for colleagues
- Support RPF submissions by completing security information
Person Specification
- At least 1 year’s IT Support experience and / or relevant IT qualification
- Advanced experience and knowledge of Microsoft 365, zoom and office based solutions
- Methodical and able to work under pressure
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
- Demonstrate a calm and stable approach all at times
- Ability to work under own supervision and manage own workload and tasks
- Flexible and able to manage priorities independently
- Able to learn new skills and technologies
- Display a logical approach to problem solving
- Excellent team player
- Excellent attention to detail
