£36,298 - £40,478 per year. Swansea Council is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Communities and Nature Project Officer to support the practical implementation of biodiversity, heritage and sustainable tourism projects within the Gower Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and to help coordinate and progress delivery of a Nature Recovery Plan for the area. This is full time, fixed term position until March 2025.

Further information
Candidates should hold an appropriate professional qualification in ecology, biodiversity, green infrastructure, landscape design or natural resource management, and have a clear understanding of relevant legislation and policies.
Proven experience of community/stakeholder engagement, project management, preparation of management plans and funding bids is essential. Excellent communication skills and an ability to deliver high quality and succinct technical reports is required. Good knowledge of the area is also desirable.
