The Nursery Nurse role is a vital part of the multi-disciplinary team providing assessment and treatment to mothers and families experiencing mental illness during the perinatal period.
The Nursery Nurse role contributes expertise and skills in the observations and assessments around the parent-infant relationship, promoting the development and maintenance of parent-infant confidence & connection, and where necessary supporting parents in the development of practical knowledge, routines and skills to assist family life and parental functioning.
