Seamstress / Sewing Machinist (part-time / full-time)

Our exciting wedding accessories company is looking for an experienced seamstress / sewing machinist for our in-house workshop.

We're a fun, vibrant and growing team and we're now looking for an additional sewing machinist to work part time or full-time covering Monday to Fridays between 8:30am and 5pm at our premises in Pershore / Evesham.

Initially a temporary position for 3 months, but with potential to be extended or made permanent.

You will have a unique opportunity to be involved in and help develop our in-house workshop. You will be making mens ties, handkerchiefs and waistcoats, as well as a range of other accessories, sewing labels onto garments, and creating custom items for weddings and other functions according to set specifications. Some hand sewing may also be required.

Experience making ties or the other items mentioned here not required - we will train you!

A real eye for detail and exactness is needed as high standards and finish are essential.

You will need to be very organised, and willing to follow processes, but at the same time constantly seeking to improve the way things are done.

Your work will be varied, sometimes easy and other times pressurised, and we need someone who can handle and meet deadlines, without someone watching over their shoulder all day. You need to be willing to step into whatever comes up and tackle it with enthusiasm.

Job Type: Part-time / Full-time, Temporary (Possibly permanent)

Salary: From £10.50 per hour

Hours: Full-time Mon-Fri or Part-time.
