Position Overview & Specifications
Sunderland City Council (SCC) has built a new workshop in Washington, which will allow the Fleet department to deliver new services, such as an authorised testing facility, electrical vehicle servicing and maintenance, MOT station and the capability of servicing and maintaining not only the Council’s fleet, but also external vehicles from both the private and commercial sector.
We are currently looking for a fleet compliance officer who must have a transport management CPC and have relevant experience working in a fleet and transportation service area.
You will manage and monitor Fleet compliance functions in accordance with developed systems, statutory procedures, legislation, corporate standards, and policies.
The main function will be to ensure that SCC fleet, including vehicles, plant and equipment are being ran in accordance with all legislation and council policy.
