Position Overview & Specifications
As Catering Assistant, your core task is to provide excellent customer service, alongside assisting in the preparation of delicious and nutritious meals of the highest quality, using our fresh and sustainable ingredients.
Main Responsibilities- Working as part of the team to create a fantastic dining experience for students and staff
- Operating Tills (full training provided)
- Ensuring a clean kitchen environment at all times
- Adhering to all safety guidelines including Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policy
We are looking for somebody who shares our passion for maintaining the highest standards of food and service for our customers along with the following:
- A friendly and versatile personality, with the ability to work within a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional Customer Service skills
- Previous catering experience
- Basic knowledge of Health and Safety practices
- Food Hygiene Level 2 (preferred, but not essential as full training provided for the right candidate)

- 20 hours working with no late nights
- 38 working weeks per year based around term time (more time to spend with friends and family!)
- £10.42 per hour
