Warehouse Assistant (part-time)

Be able to work on your own initiative to organize the section and staff to a high standard.

Have excellent communication skills with customers, line managers and all staff.

Be able to maintain a high standard of discipline, professionalism and ensure strict adherence to the all company policy

Ensure all Health and Safety, security procedures are followed,

Instill pride in all assistants to keep the section clean, tidy and serviceable at all times.

Remain flexible to work in all areas of the branch when directed.

Maintain high standards of attendance and punctuality.

Maintain and ensure merchandising is of a high standard with the ability to organise stock to and from second and third levels and proper use of ladders and all Health & Safety equipment to Company standards.

Ensure stock rotation is carried out correctly. Have the ability to explain the Stax pricing structure to customers and draw to their attention promotions, bonus buys, multi buys

Build good product knowledge especially on new lines and ranges.

Picking duties include:

Work off a hand held gun for information

To work efficiently

To report to your manager

Good knowledge of the stock location through time

Excellent attendance and timekeeping

Hours

39 hours week, Week One Mon- Fri, Week Two Mon- Sun ( off Friday & Saturday)

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-25 per week

Salary: £10.50 per hour
