Graduate Trainee - Solar Photovoltaic Project Management

Spirit Energy is a renewable energy company based in Reading. We install on-grid and off-grid solar PV systems, battery storage systems, EV chargers and LED lighting systems in residential and commercial buildings.

We have a vacancy for a bright articulate graduate to join our project management team.

You will learn how to project manage both domestic and commercial solar PV and battery storage systems, including:

• system design (panel lay-out, electrical design, mounting system design, use of PVSOL software, Sketch-up and CAD);
• project planning;
• liaison with customers, installers, scaffolders, sub-contractors;
• health and safety, risk assessments etc;
• preparation of handover packs, inspection, testing and compliance paperwork.

Ideally with a scientific, engineering or mathematical bias, able to demonstrate numeracy and a high level of attention to detail.

You should be able to write clearly and concisely. In addition you must be articulate with a cheerful disposition and a confident telephone manner.

You don't need to know anything about the systems yet - we will train you.

You must also be hard working and efficient, and have the ability to grasp a reasonable level of technical information.
