DevOps Engineer required to join an innovative driven technology company providing quality and affordable healthcare to patients nationwide. Launched in the UK with products and services both online and instore and backed by large strategic and healthcare investment this is an excellent time for a DevOps Engineer to join the company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and building scalable cloud based infrastructure on AWS and Azure in an enterprise environment. This is ideally suited to a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Engineer looking to play a key role in managing and deployment of applications used by thousands of patients and users.

The successful DevOps Engineer will be given the opportunity to move the existing AWS Cloud to Azure and make a real difference whilst broadening their skillset further. As well as very competitive salaries, our client offers a comprehensive benefits package and flexibility around hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily management of the UK engineering infrastructure
  • Migration from AWS cloud through to Azure
  • Set and maintain technically excellent and secure operational production and non production environments
  • Be the primary source of infrastructure knowledge in the UK team
  • Provide support and assist with resolution of infrastructure issues
  • Be a source of technical expertise and mentorship
  • Liaise with both internal and external parties
  • Participate in bespoke system and environment designs and documentation
  • Monitoring of services, logs and auditing
  • Working with development in delivering CI/CD pipelines, and developer environments
  • Delivering and supporting the implementation of projects
  • Build strong relationships with their peers as well as their teams' relevant business stakeholders both in UK and US teams


Key Skills

  • 5+ years' experience in managing and building scalable cloud based infrastructure on AWS and / or Azure
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes
  • AWS Services, Azure, RDS, Aurora, SNS, API Gateway, EC2, Elastic Beanstalk
  • Awesome Linux experience
  • Understanding and implementation of AWS Security best practices and working knowledge
  • Experience in building infrastructure as code
  • Experience using Python in a DevOps capacity
  • Git
  • Be a team player
  • Demonstrate WIT (Whatever It Takes) attitude

This position is offered as a hybrid position however the successful candidate will be required to be able to attend my clients London office when requested. Applicants must also be UK based resident.
